TWAD_Contractors Registration
To register as a contractor with the Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board (TWAD), you may need to meet the following requirements:
- Class of registration: New contractors with experience in civil works may be registered in class IV or V, depending on their capacity and capability. Contractors registered in class II or above are eligible to take on work costing up to Rs. 75 lakhs.
Required documents
- Bid documents: Filled out and signed
- Annual turnover: For the last three years, audited by a registered chartered accountant
- Balance sheet: For the last three years, audited by a registered chartered accountant
- Letter of application: On the applicant's letterhead, including their full address, phone number, fax number, cable address, and email address
- Copies of original documents: Defining the applicant's legal status and principal place of business
- Other documents: Such as a credit line certificate from financial institutions, income tax clearance certificate, and valid GST registration certificate
