Patta Appeal
In Tamil Nadu, you can appeal a patta order from a Tahsildar or Deputy Tahsildar to the Divisional Officer. You can also file a revision to the District Revenue Officer against the Divisional Officer’s order. You must file the appeal or revision within 30 days of receiving the order. You can also file a further revision to the Commissioner of Land Administration within 30 days of receiving the order, and the Commissioner’s orders are final.
Required documents
- Supporting documents: Such as sale deeds, property tax receipts, or other documents that prove the correct information
- Original documents: Such as documents related to property transfer, which must be submitted to the Taluk office for verification
- Documented proof: Such as an electricity bill or tax payment bill
