A widow certificate in Tamil Nadu may refer to the Destitute Widow Certificate (REV-123) or the Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme
- Photocopy of national identity card for the bride and groom
- Photocopy of Aadhar card
- Photocopy of ration card
- Marriage invitation
- Marriage Photo
- Marriage register certificate
- Proof from the village administrative officer that the person is marrying for the first time
- Graduation degree certificate
- Age proof of the bride and groom
- School transfer certificate (TC) for both the bride and groom, attested by government gazette officers
- Receipt of the marriage hall, temple, or register marriage certificate, Xeroxed and attested by government gazette officers
The Marriage Assistance to Differently Abled Persons (MATDAP) scheme in India is for couples where both partners are differently abled and meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Both partners must be over 18 years old
- Both partners must fall within one of the 21 categories of differently-abled persons as defined in Section 2(Zc) of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016
